How to clear / reset service reminder mk3 RS/ST

for non RS/ST vehicle that are automatics, switch ignition on FIRST then apply brake and throttle together.
This is because on a vehicle with a manual gearbox the clutch pedal is the start trigger when pressing the start/power button.
On vehicles with an automatic gearbox the brake pedal is the start trigger when pressing the start/power button.
